Joshua Broome
We are honored to welcome Joshua Broome as the keynote speaker for Rock Bottom Hope’s 2026 “Royal Night of Hope”. Joshua’s story is nothing short of extraordinary—a journey from rock bottom into the fullness of Kingdom-living, and one that aligns powerfully with the mission of hope, restoration and transformation at Rock Bottom Hope.
From Darkness to Hope
Joshua once lived a life that many might describe as “successful” by worldly standards, but he found himself deeply empty. During his adult film career—after starring in over a thousand films and earning substantial income—he realized that fame and fortune did not satisfy the deepest longings of his heart.
His lowest point came when he struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. At that moment, he encountered the transformative power of Jesus and said yes to a new path.
Today, Joshua lives as a redeemed man of God, using his story to bring hope to others who feel trapped, ashamed, or crushed by past mistakes.
What He’s Doing Now
Joshua is now a pastor, speaker, and author whose message rings with authenticity: no one is beyond the reach of God’s redemption.
He speaks across churches, men’s and women’s gatherings, conferences and media, addressing issues like freedom from pornography, the lies culture feeds us, identity rooted in Christ, and living in true freedom.
His mission aligns closely with Rock Bottom Hope’s heart to bring light to people in despair, to show that “rock bottom” is not the end—but often the place from which true transformation begins.
His Book: 7 Lies That Will Ruin Your Life
Joshua’s book 7 Lies That Will Ruin Your Life is a fearless examination of the cultural myths that promise fulfillment but deliver bondage.
In it he mixes his personal story with biblical truth—showing how things that look good, feel good, or promise significance can actually keep us in chains—unless we break free in Christ.
Here are a few of the truths Joshua drives home:
• The lie that approval from others will satisfy.
• The lie that sexual freedom or fame brings identity.
• The lie that what we’ve done defines our future.
His message is: God’s love is bigger. His grace is deeper. Your past does not have to dictate your future.
Why He’s a Perfect Fit for “Royal Night of Hope”
At Rock Bottom Hope, we believe in drawing the marginalized up, lifting the defeated, investing in the broken—and declaring that we serve a King whose throne room is filled with hope. Joshua’s story embodies that principle.
Royalty in restoration: From being crushed under shame to standing in the dignity of a child of God.
Hope to the hopeless: His life says, “If God can redeem me, He can redeem you.”
Power to practical transformation: His message isn’t just inspirational—it’s formative. He doesn’t only say “You can change,” he shows how to change through Jesus, community, and truth.
